Questions about camping pitches, glamping houses or rooms at our campsite? Are you interested in information about other offers at our campsite? We have compiled a list of answers to the most common questions you might be interested in. If you can’t find the answer to your question, please email us at booking@camp-liza.com or call us.

Campsite and surroundings

Do I need a reservation to stay at the campsite?

Reservations are required from 01.05. to 30.09., but recommended at other times.

What is the recommended way to make a reservation?

We recommend you make your reservation through our booking system (RESERVATION button on the website), the process is short and easy. A prepayment is required to confirm your reservation.

Is a prepayment required to confirm my booking?

Yes, a prepayment is required to confirm your reservation. Upon receipt of your enquiry by phone, email or online booking system, we will send you a quotation containing all the details for making the advance payment. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation to the email address from which we received your enquiry or to the email address you provided when filling in the online form. The prepayment will be deducted from the final booking amount at check-out.

What are the cancellation terms?

Can I make a reservation by phone?

We do not accept reservations or telephone enquiries. All bookings can be made via our online booking system or by sending your enquiry to our email address booking@camp-liza.com. All the necessary information is available on the website.

Which payment methods do you accept?

For advance payments, we accept bank transfers to the company’s bank account. The final payment can be made in cash in EUR and by all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, V-Pay, Maestro…).

Can we reserve a specific camping pitch?

Only guests who have already stayed at the campsite and are aware of the campsites that match their preferences can book a specific camping pitch, and whether a specific camping pitch is available depends on current availability or capacity.

Is the price per night the same in all zones (1-6) of the campsite?

Yes, the price per night is the same in all zones of the campsite.

Are dogs allowed in the campsite?

Pets are always welcome at the campsite. Pets shall be kept on a leash during the walk and in any catering premises.

Until when can I check in on the day of arrival or check out on the day of departure?

You can check in immediately upon arrival at the campsite or within 12 hours of arrival. Check-in/check-out times vary for different accommodation types: Camping pitches:

  • check-in on the day of arrival: 12:00-20:00
  • check-out on day of departure: 09:00-12:00

Glamping houses and rooms:

  • check-in on the day of arrival: 16:00-20:00
  • check-out on the day of departure: 09:00-11:00
What do I need to check in at reception?

We need personal documents for each guest (regardless of age) to check in. Documents will be returned immediately after check-in.

Until when is the campsite open?

The campsite is open all year round.

Is the water in the campsite drinkable?

The water at the campsite is drinkable.

Can we use our own barbecue at the campsite?

It can, but it must be raised off the ground.

Can I cook at the campsite?

There is an outdoor area with a cooker, kitchen sink, fridge and a chest of drawers for rent (price list).

Is electricity included in the price?

Electricity is not included in the room rate and is payable at a flat-rate per day (price list).

Are there washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers in the campsite?

Of course, they are available using tokens. The washing machine and dishwasher have automatic detergent dosing. Tokens can be purchased at reception (price list).

Is there free WiFi at the campsite?

Yes, we have Wi-Fi in the campsite, which is free for guests. The password to log in to the WiFi network is available at the campsite reception.

Do you rent tents?

No, we do not rent tents.

Which adapter do I need and what is the fuse rating?

You will need a euro adapter as well as 15-50m extension cables. The power of all the electrical boxes in the campsite is 16 amperes. The voltage of the electrical boxes in the campsite is 220 V, frequency 50 Hz. You will need a ‘Europlug’ plug (2 poles), or a CEE plug (3 poles). If you need an adaptor, it can be borrowed from the campsite reception (subject to availability).

Do you offer discounts for large groups or camping card holders?

We offer discounts for groups of more than 15 people and in the pre-season with different benefit cards (until 15.4. and after 15.9.). You can find the discounts here.
ADAC, CCI, pre-season and post-season only (until 15.4. and after 15.9.).
No discounts are available in the high season.
All camping cards which can be used to obtain certain benefits must be presented at the campsite reception at check-in. A camping card implying certain benefits cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers.

Are discounts cumulative?

Discounts are not cumulative.

How can I make it easier to transport my personal luggage to my reserved seat?

You can use a wheelbarrow to transport luggage and other personal belongings, especially for camping pitches in Zones 5 and 6 where there is no vehicle access. The wheelbarrow is usually located at the Aesontius shop, where you can return it after use.

Where in the campsite is the water supply and faecal discharge possible?

In Zone 4 there is a separate water supply point, a fecal disposal point, a chemical toilet… Follow the signs below, or check the exact location at https://campmap.com/siliza

Glamping houses & rooms

What kind of glamping houses do you offer at the campsite?

In addition to camping, Camp Liza also offers small glamping houses for rent. We offer 6 (six) double glamping houses and 1 (one) triple glamping house. Each glamping house has a small fridge, heating and free WI-FI. Toilet and shower facilities are available at the campsite.

Are the glamping houses heated?

Glamping houses 1 and 2, which are suitable for both summer and winter stays, are heated.

Is there bedding in the glamping houses?

Bed linen and towels are not provided in the glamping houses.

Are pets allowed in glamping sites?

Pets are not allowed in the glamping houses.

What kind of rooms do you offer at the campsite?

In addition to camping, Camp Liza also offers room rental. We offer 3 (three) triple rooms and 3 (three) double rooms. Four of these rooms also have a terrace where you can enjoy the view of the breathtaking nature. Each room has its own bathroom, small fridge, TV, air conditioning, heating and free WI-FI. The rooms are also suitable for families, as two rooms are connected by sliding doors, rooms 1 and 2, and rooms 3 and 4, which can be left open if you are holidaying with your family, turning two rooms into one large room for the whole family.

Are the rooms heated?

Yes, all rooms are heated.

Is there bed linen in the rooms?

Bed linen and towels are provided in the rooms.

Are pets allowed in the rooms?

Pets are not allowed in the rooms.

Restaurant & Shop & Activities

When is Liza open and what does it offer?

Liza is only open during the high season (May-September). The hours are adjusted according to the number of guests at the campsite.

When is the Liza grocery store open and what does it offer?

The shop is only open during the high season (May-September) between 08:00 and 10:00. The shop can be found in the Liza Restaurant. It offers fresh bread, croissants, doughnuts and everything you need for breakfast, from eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurt, milk, juices and various bread spreads.

When is the Aesontius shop open and what does it offer?

The shop is open during the high season (May-September). The hours are adjusted according to the number of guests at the campsite. In this small shop you can find lots of interesting things for yourself or for your loved ones. You can choose from many souvenirs, some of them handmade and unique, or from the popular T-shirts with different camping motifs made of organic cotton, jewellery, some local delicacies such as honey, local spirits, beer… Of course, there are also cold drinks and a large selection of ice-creams in the shop.
Here you can book various popular sport activities such as rafting, canyoning, kayak school, zip-line… We provide all the information and videos of the activities to help you get an idea. In the shop we also offer information about the sights and other beauties of the Soča Valley.

What can we do at the campsite?

The campsite has a volleyball court, children’s playground, restaurant and souvenir shop. Camp Liza is also an excellent starting point for various sports activities, hiking trails, cycling routes… For more information, please contact reception or email booking@camp-liza.com.

Is it possible to book sports and other activities at the campsite?

It is possible to book various activities such as rafting, canyoning, zipline, kayak and other activities. Activities can be booked at the Aesontius shop, where all information and videos are available. All activities are organised from the campsite, which means that transport to and from the activity is taken care of. For more information, please contact reception or email booking@camp-liza.com.

How can I book the activity I want?

We recommend that you contact us at booking@camp-liza.com to let us know your wishes. Up to 3 people can book the activity one day in advance at the Aesontius shop in the campsite.

Which cycle tours do you recommend in your area?

There are many paths, roads and tracks in the surrounding area that offer endless cycling opportunities, while less demanding cyclists can take the more winding roads through the valleys and on some plateaus. You can find the most suitable cycling tour for you by following the cycling tours link.
